A choice dwarf selection of European White Birch, this tree can easily take the place of Japanese maples in zones where they wouldn't survive. Covered in finely divided thread like leaves, Trost's Dwarf will take on an irregular mounded shape over the years. It is also resistant to many pests that pose problems to the pure species
