Chasmanthium latifolium, also called Northern Sea Oats', is a Canadian native grass that is ornamental from mid summer through winter.  Plants form an upright clump of deep green leaves which produce dangling green flower spikes. Flower spikes mature to bronze then beige.

Soil Requirements: Tolerates a wide range of soil types, pH, and moisture levels. Prefers moist locations.

Use: Use as an accent plant, massed, or in a large container. Good in fresh or dried flower arrangements.
Flower Colour & Shape: Green, maturing to bronze and beige. Flowers resemble nodding, braided brushes.
