'Alpine Sunrise' is an choice dwarf form of Japanese Maple, and will fit into any garden. The spring foliage begins a bright cherry red, and darkens to maroon by summertime. Fall colour is bright crimson red. This small tree has a densely branched, pillar-like form. It was propagated from a witches broom, found growing on a tree in New Jersey
