Please say hello to 'Kurui Jishi', or the "Confused Lion". This rarely available dwarf Japanese Maple is covered in small lobed leaves with inwardly rolled margins. Each leaf has a glossy dark green surface, and a dusty, pale green underside. In the heat of summer, each of the 5 to 7 lobes may roll into a tube, turning the leaves into stars. Fall colour is bright orange yellow.
