Another of the "Ghost" series Japanese Maples from Oregon, 'Purple Ghost' is an excellent mid sized tree for the garden. Its narrower growth habit enables it to fit into spaces that would be too small for most other trees. Bright purple red foliage, marked by prominent dark veining emerges in the spring, and matures to deeper tones in summer. Purple Ghost is set ablaze in autumn, with a cloak of vibrant orange and red.
