'Heritage' River Birch is one of the best birches for use in the garden. Stunning, pale salmon papery bark exfoliates to reveal creamy white layers below. Light green leaves emerge in spring, and mature to glossy, mid green. Autumn colour is a reliable pale yellow. 'Heritage' grows quickly into a medium sized tree that provides light shade.it is also resistant to many pests that damage other birches. Sometimes listed in the nursery trade as "Cully"
