'Kerstin' puts on a most unusual, and very welcome display throughout the year. This extra hardy Swedish introduction is a strong, upright shrub cloaked in downy textured deep lilac-grey foliage. In winter, each shoot tip turns pale yellow. The arrival of spring heralds a change, the yellow tips blush pink and red. Mauve flowers complete the picture in August and September. Recipient of the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit.
