'Black Pearl' is a new and exciting selection of Eastern Redbud, with perhaps the darkest foliage yet. Its heart shaped, deep purple leaves are almost black, and they retain their colour throughout the summer. This tree has a dense, compact habit, with relatively short internodes between the branches. An ideal tree for any garden, as it excels in sun or part shade.
