This stunning selection of Eastern Redbud is a welcome contrast to the older, purple leaved forms of the species. It still carries clusters of pink, pea like flowers, before the foliage emerges, but once the leaves appear, the real show begins! Apricot coloured young growth is constant through the season, each leaf expanding, and brightening through chartreuse yellow until reaching a rich light green at maturity, making for a wonderful effect!
