This exceptional small tree is living beyond its time, in the great gardens of the world. Although the  "Franklin Tree' was first discovered in Georgia in 1770, it has been extinct in the wild since 1803.

Flower Colour & Shape: Fragrant, white, five petalled flowers, similar to camellias, with a central boss of yellow stamens
Foliage: Glossy, dark green, oblong leaves. Foliage takes on vibrant hues of crimson, orange and purple, in autumn
