Let me introduce you to the American Conifer Society's "2010 Conifer of the Year". 'Mariken' is a decidedly dwarf Ginkgo, with semi-pendulous branches. Its low and spreading, mounding habit is perfectly suited for rock gardens, bonsai, or even included in mixed borders as an accent plant. Winner of the prestigious RHS Award of Garden Merit.

Foliage: Abundant two-lobed leathery fan shaped small green leaves, appear rounded and cupped, and turn golden yellow in autumn
