'Teller's Blue' is regarded as one of the best blue Lacecap Hydrangeas available today. Also known as 'Blaumeise' in Europe, it is a winner of the coveted RHS Award of Garden Merit under that name. Throughout the summer months it is covered in broad flat lacy flowerheads of the richest cobalt blue.

Light Requirements: Part Shade to Full Sun
Height: 180 cm to 210 cm
Spread: 120 cm to 150 cm
Soil Requirements: Rich, moist organic soils with a steady water supply
Bloom Time Early to late Summer
Planting Time: Spring to Fall if given a steady water supply
Use: Accent plant, shade gardens, shrub borders, mass planting, woodland gardens, waterside gardens
Flower Colour & Shape: Large flat lacy umbels of tiny fertile flowers surrounded by a fringe of prominent sterile florets. Flower colour is dependent on soil pH (acid= blue to purple, alkaline = lilac to pink)
Foliage: Coarse textured medium green ovate toothed leaves, turn bronze before leaf drop
Benefits: Vigorous growth, salt spray tolerance, shade plant,  attracts bees and butterflies, cut/dried flowers
