This true dwarf form of the Oakleaf Hydrangea, a native of the southeastern United States, has it all! 'Munchkin' bears abundant 16 cm long trusses of loosely held white flowers, held above the dark green heavily textured oak shaped leaves. While the flowers age to pink, the foliage adds to the spectacle late in the season by taking on deep mahogany red tones. Even in winter the branches add a sense of interest with their exfoliating rust coloured bark.
