'Red Sprite' is the perfect companion to Ilex verticillata 'Jim Dandy'. This female cultivar of our native Winterberry bears abundant tiny greenish white flowers in summer, that become a profusion of bright red berries once autumn arrives. The brilliant display will often continue through the winter, and may last into spring, if the birds don't consume them.
