This selection of the European Yellow Flag Iris is noted for its standout new growth every Spring. Vigorous new shoots of gold and green variegated foliage emerge from the ground at the start of the season. As time passes, the foliage gradually matures to bright green. The floral display consists of multi flowered stems of bright yellow blooms that carry a brown veined eye zone on the falls. Awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit in 1994
