The 'Northern Spicebush' brings several desirable features to any shrub border or woodland garden. This native North American shrub produces clusters of pale yellow-green fragrant flowers before the leaves emerge in early Spring. The bright cherry-like fruit which occur on female plants, are beloved by birds. As Autumn arrives, the aromatic foliage turns a rich yellow. Host plant for the Spicebush Swallowtail Butterfly.
