Mukdenia rossii is a tough, low growing plant that originated in northeastern China and Korea. This Heuchera relative has thick and glossy  bronze toned maple-like foliage emerging in the spring from a slowly spreading rhizome. Branched panicles of tiny white bell shaped  flowers rise over the newly emerged leaves. The foliage matures to medium green, before the leaf tips  blush burgundy in fall.  An all round excellent plant for gardens in part shade.
