'Hameln' is the oldest named selection of Pennisetum alopecuroides, and was chosen for its dwarf size and earlier bloom season. Plentiful silvery white foxtail-like floral plumes dance above a compact mound of arching green foliage from mid summer onward. This warm season ornamental grass was awarded the RHS Award of Garden Merit, and is deserving of a place in any sunny garden.
