Primula auricula is a wonderful plant for rock and alpine gardens, or positioning at the front of borders. It was once the subject of a Victorian era plant craze...where hundreds of different named cultivars were collected and grown in UK gardens. Dense heads of fragrant flowers rise above the leaves on short stems.
