'Silver Sentinel' is selection of Primula auricula that came to us from Wrightman Alpines in St Andrews, NB. It traces some of its features back to the Victorian era Primula craze. This low growing hardy plant is choice example of the 'farinose' Primulas, plants whose flowers appear dusted with silvery white powder. Each flower has four separate colour zones; a yellow throat, surrounded by a white eye ring. The five petals are brushed deep oxblood red, with olive green tips.
