'Groenekan's Glorie' is a real treasure for the garden. This old and uncommon cultivar originated in the Netherlands. Low spreading mats of textured dark green foliage are covered by abundant bluish pink flowers early in the season. One of the few Primulas that can be used as a groundcover.

Soil Requirements: Moist humus rich well drained soils

Flower Colour & Shape: Lightly fragrant flat five lobed mauve pink flowers, with a greenish yellow eye zone
Foliage: Basal rosette of semi-evergreen paddle shaped dark green, toothed leaves.spreads slowly by underground stolons
