Arneson Gem is true jewel as far as deciduous Azaleas are concerned. This small shrub bears loose heads of angular red buds that open into lightly scented large soft golden yellow flowers flushed with orange. Butterflies flock to them for nectar.The disease resistant rich green foliage turns shades of red and purple in autumn.
