May Night, or 'Mainacht' is a multiple award winning plant that deserves a place in any sunny border. This recipient of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, was named 'Perennial Plant of the Year in 1997. Many dense spikes of small violet blue flowers rise above neat mounds of aromatic deep green foliage. It makes an excellent cut flower, as well as the perfect attractant for bees, butterflies and hummingbirds.
