'Charles Joly' has been with us since 1896, and in spite of its age, it remains one of the most popular Lilacs today. This winner of the RHS Award of Garden Merit, bears dense conical heads of purple buds, that open in late spring into fragrant rich reddish purple double flowers. Always popular with bees, butterflies, and hummingbirds, Charles will make your garden into a hive of activity and fragrance.
